Accepting the Mysteries of Life - Both Easy and Hard

Life is characteristically either easy or hard, and many of us wander between these poles from one day to the next. Balance can be elusive. When things are easy pride becomes us, but when things turn hard it is self-pity we run to. Both of these destinations are ruts.

There are cycles of easy and cycles of hard,
Directions of pride and pity to guard,
Straddling the knife's edge and not to be cut,
Is living life so as to avoid many a rut.

When we take life in a bipolar fashion, swinging from easy to hard and back again, we quickly recognise how tantalising temptations are in just living life within the situations we are placed. But it goes better for us when we dare to approach balance.

There are tantalising temptations with which to scare,
These are opportunities with which to dare,
For the prize on offer stands there to be claimed,
As proof of the direction in which we aimed.

Our aim is balance.

OH, TO ACHIEVE BALANCE!

This is something that the balanced take for granted. The wise take their balance in their stride. But a bipolar spirituality is something many of us are entangled with. Oh to achieve balance. What we would do for it!

But to be fair, we organise ourselves a better perception of life and reality when we take life as it comes.

There are cycles of times that are easy, as much as there are cycles that are hard. Never can we assume that the next moment will be one or the other. The uncertainty of life creates mysteries around the incoming situation, and therefore how we will handle it.

Amongst a bitter degree of uncertainty we are cast forth into the world.

God mandates life this way, such that we must deal with what comes, and as peaceably as we can. But dealing with polar disparities of easy and hard is not an especially impossible task. God's grace is sufficient. And we remember that the wisdom in balance is achievable most of the time, so long as we don't expect perfection of ourselves. We will need to lower our expectations.

Never will we be perfectly balanced, just like never will we completely understand life in the midst of all its challenges, beauties, uncertainties, glories, or disappointments.

***

Accepting that life is both easy and hard - and it's all between - requires a balanced resilience in comprehending perfection of understanding is unattainable.

Understanding that life is often a confusing mystery beyond us helps us to struggle onward; to struggle well. No matter what comes - whether it's easy or hard - we have a way to balance through the grace in God.

Weight Loss And Other Benefits Of Jogging

One of the most ancient and effective exercise to keep the body fit is jogging. Doctors consider jogging as a cure for many diseases. Jogging keeps one's mind fresh and active together with other parts of the body. The effectiveness of jogging can be realized by the fact that it involves the entire body during the jog.

Simple and Easy

Jogging is considered the simplest and easiest way to lose weight and maintain a high metabolism. There exist wrong perceptions among many people that cutting down on food intake will actually reduce their weight. However, this has been proven wrong as health consultants have consistently advised to eat properly. Eating is a way of staying healthy. It is true that eating more would lead to weight gain, but eating less would not necessarily cause weight loss. It has to be accompanied with some exercises, such as jogging.

Improves Stamina

Jogging simply enhances the appetite and improves one's stamina. Jogging doesn't require a person to go to a gym nor to install expensive machinery at home. It just asks for good shoes, enthusiasm, and, if possible, a partner. Jogging 6 days a week for at least half an hour can help burn enough calories to effectively lose weight. However, consistency and commitment is important to reach the desired goal.

Unlike other exercises, jogging is a fun thing to do. It also improves lung capacity and makes the heart a lot healthier than it is. This means that a person who jogs regularly has more stamina than a person who doesn't. With increased stamina, a person can work for longer and do many different kinds of exercises. It keeps the person healthy and active throughout the day. People who get fatigues easily should consider jogging as part of their everyday routine.

Fights Diseases

Other than weight loss, jogging has many other benefits. It helps one stay away from numerous diseases like diabetes, osteoporosis, heart attacks etc. As it brings all body parts to function, jogging facilitates the supply of oxygen around the human body. By increasing the heart rate of a person, jogging can be very beneficial when it comes to fighting heart diseases. By being a great combatant against all such diseases, it can be said that jogging increases the efficiency of the immune system. It acts an important element of a healthy and active lifestyle.

In the busy lifestyle of the urban man, jogging provides a perfect break from the hectic and demanding everyday routine. Jogging helps relieve stress and provides peace of mind and solace. Studies have also estimated that jogging builds up one's confidence by improving the overall attitude of the person. A useful tip while jogging is to listen to fast music.

Can Science Explain Everything? Why Do We Need Philosophy, Religion, and Art?

Science cannot explain what belongs to the abstract dimension of our reality. Science can verify what belongs to our material reality, and explain the origin of phenomena that are part of our material life. A scientist is a realistic researcher.

Philosophy is a rational speculation and meditation. A philosopher is constantly looking for answers. A philosopher analyzes the material and the spiritual reality, and makes conclusions after observing many factors.

Religion is the purification of the human spirit from the sins of the materialistic world, and from the sins of the human conscience. A religious person has faith in God and respects specific moral principals, which act like protective laws.

Art is the free expression of our thoughts and feelings in a beautiful form. It reflects our psychological system and the psychological condition of the world. An artist loves his/her art more than his own life.

Each discipline gives us different knowledge. We need all disciplines in order to have a global vision of our reality. Science alone cannot explain the meaning of wisdom. Wisdom is more than just knowledge.

Wisdom depends on philosophy. You must understand the meaning of life if you want to be wise. If you ignore the meaning of life, you don't know if anything else has any meaning.

The way you interpret your reality is your personal philosophy of life.

When you think about your life, you understand that it is a complex system composed by many elements. You need many things in order to be happy. You need peace, but there is no peace in the absurd world. You need material conditions in order to survive, but your world is ruled by violence and greed. You need a social life, but making friends is problematic.

Everything is difficult. Living well is complicated.

Your personal philosophy of life helps you interpret your reality. However, you are ignorant, and there are many dangers everywhere. You need superior guidance.

The unconscious mind that produces your dreams is your natural protector. The unconscious mind is God's mind and knows everything.

By following dream therapy you will understand how to stop being influenced by your wild nature, and how to stop being influenced by the violence of the world.

The unconscious mind transforms you into an artist because your art helps you understand that only perfection is beautiful. You must desire to be perfect like your artistic creations.

You need art in order to understand the meaning of beauty. Beauty gives you joy. This knowledge cannot be given by science or philosophy.

You must love what is beautiful, and never generate catastrophes. The unconscious wisdom helps you pay attention to the beauty of nature by helping you develop your artistic inclinations. This knowledge helps you become more sensitive.

You must be sensitive if you want to be able to understand how other people feel and read their minds. Your sensitivity is more important than your cold rationalism. Sensitivity gives you balance and prevents mental illnesses. Sensitivity makes you pay attention to human pain.

The psychotherapy of the unconscious mind transforms you into a wise human being who pays attention to all aspects. You need this psychotherapy even if you have never had psychological problems.

The unconscious treatment is mind empowerment and spiritual purification. This psychological treatment helps you evaluate the importance of goodness, especially in the hardest moments of life.

This treatment helps you understand your religion.

Your religion shows you the difference between what is good or bad. Your religion also helps you understand that you must follow a path to self-improvement.

You discover why you must cultivate love in your heart and why you have to be generous with everyone. Everyone needs compassion. Everyone is suffering for some reason.

The unconscious mind also helps you understand the scientific aspect of your treatment, so that you may have objective knowledge. You learn how your brain works and what determines your behavior. You become a psychologist yourself.

Science is a discipline that helps you understand why everything happens the way it does. It is quite similar to philosophy. However, science is based on objective scientific discoveries and not on ideas, like philosophy.

Everything is important. Everything helps you become more intelligent. You must pay attention to everything at the same time if you want to make wise decisions, and prepare positive life conditions for yourself in the future. You also have to be sensitive. You should always remember that your sensitivity gives you balance; not your reasoning.

Christina Sponias continued Carl Jung's research into the human psyche, discovering the cure for all mental illnesses, and simplifying the scientific method of dream interpretation that teaches you how to exactly translate the meaning of your dreams, so that you can find health, wisdom and happiness.

Healthy Diet To Gain Weight

While most of the population is concerned about being overweight, there are people who are too skinny and face difficulty in gaining weight. Due to a fast metabolism, these people are called "hard gainers." Choosing the right diet plan is important to put on some pounds of muscle to feel confident and attractive. A healthy diet to bulk-up means to opt for quality food that can help gain muscle mass.

Build up with Proteins

The most important element which has to be present in a diet plan is protein, the building block of human muscle. Of the foods that contain whole protein, egg is the recommended one. Eggs are the most efficient source of proteins. It not only provides proteins but also contain vital dietary fats and cholesterol, which are essential requirements to build body mass.

Concerned hard gainers should be adding chicken to their diet. Chicken is widely used to bulk up lean muscles as it contains protein sources that help build lean muscle mass. An appropriate choice of healthy proteins, skinless chicken breast is low in dietary fat and highly dense with protein.

Get Some Fat on You

Salmon is also another quality food that can help. It contains omega-3s which can boost muscle growth. For lesser fat concerned people, having beef rather than chicken can help bulk up fast too. This is because beef adds up the fat content which facilitates mass gaining. Milk is also a significant source of proteins and fats. Whole milk is better than skimmed milk as the former provides fats to increase testosterone production, accelerating muscle build-up.

Fats are essential parts of the diet. While common perception makes a person feel like they should avoid fats at all cost. This is, in fact, a false perception. There are two kinds of fats: animal fats and plant fats. Animal fats may cause coronary problems and cholesterol, thus should be taken in very small and calculated quantities. On the other hand, plant fats and oils and very good for the healthy growth of cells and body tissues. Examples of such fats include plant seed oils and fats contained in fruits and vegetables.

Fats are great for building body protoplasm. They are also necessary for keeping the body warm. A layer of fat beneath the skin helps body insulation. This helps keeping the body warm in a cold environment and cool in a hot environment.

It is evident that nature has a delicate balance and it is up to humans to maintain that balance in order to have a healthy life. Without a healthy life a person can develop many diseases that will not only decrease the life expectancy but will also make life painful and tough due to many diseases and conditions. Thus, it is beneficial to have a healthy body that is in the best shape.

The Team Concept

It may seem sometimes that teamwork is something everybody talks about and nobody does anything about. But teamwork can and does exist. A wise man once said: "there is no stronger force in this world than a group of people working willingly toward the same specific goal." Teams are made not born. The best results are obtained when people work together with a sense of commitment to one another as well as to their organization.

It has been found that unity of purpose is a chief distinguishing feature of an outstanding managerial group. Team effectiveness stems from shared obligations for the organization and understanding of the role and responsibilities of each member of the team. Are you a good team member? A person can be a good member without being a good team member. What constitutes a good team member? There are nine important components:

#1 - A TEAM MEMBER IS LOYAL Loyalty to each team member and to the team as a whole is essential. This means that a team member must support team decisions regardless of personal preference. Present a united front to the membership. Don't wash dirty linen in public. Don't bad mouth other team members. Learn to address issues and avoid personality conflicts. Sometimes it's difficult to separate oneself from the issue and the person presenting the issue but a good team member learns how to do it. Keep board and committee discussions confidential.

#2 - A TEAM MEMBER IS COMMITTED Each of us makes a choice as to the role we will play on the team. We either join in as an active, caring member or we go through the motions from the sidelines. The active, caring team member says, "I make a difference. What I do makes it possible for the board or committee to run smoothly. I'm part of what outsiders see when they judge my team. With every telephone conversation, every personal contact, every letter, I make a statement about my organization."

#3 - A TEAM MEMBER IS DEPENDABLE You will command respect in direct proportion to the number of people who have confidence that you will not let them down in any situation. When you undertake anything - finish it. Build a reputation as a person who is thorough and sees things through. Let people be sure that your word is your bond.

#4 - A TEAM MEMBER IS GOAL-ORIENTED Goals need not be earth-shattering to be worthwhile. It's better to take small steps and reach your destination, than try to take giant strides and trip over your own feet.

Here is a test that is designed to help your team achieve its goals.
Ask yourself these questions and answer them thoroughly:
a) Where is my group headed? Are we accomplishing our responsibilities and achieving our goals?
b) What have I done today to help get these things done?
c) What will I do tomorrow to help get these things done even better?

Answering these questions could dramatically benefit your personal growth and your team's success. As a good team member, help determine how the goal should be accomplished. Input from everyone is needed. And your contribution is vital and important.

#5 - A TEAM MEMBER IS PROFESSIONAL Author Frank Tyger wrote: "Professionalism means consistency of quality." There are certain personal qualities that mark the true professional. You are a real pro a) if you are mature - if you have self-confidence that comes from accepting yourself and others as you see them. b) if you have integrity - you quite naturally project sincerity and are honest and fair in your dealings with others. c) if you are knowledgeable - with knowledge that comes from study about your office or committee assignment and our organization in general. d) if you have the right attitude and you are business-like in your approach to your responsibility. You respect other people's time and effort as well as your own. e) if you think, act and perform professionally.

#6 - A TEAM MEMBER IS CO-OPERATIVE During a hike in the woods one day, a troop of Boy Scouts came across an abandoned section of railroad tracks. Each in turn, tried to walk the rails, but eventually lost his balance and tumbled off. Suddenly, two of the boys, after considerable whispering, bet the others that they could both walk the entire length of the track without falling off. Challenged to make good their boast, the two boys jumped up on opposite rails, extended a hand to balance each other and walked the entire section of track with no difficulty whatever. This example of co-operation gives us a prime example of accomplishing a task through co-operative teamwork. The difference between a successful organization and a poor one is quite often a reflection of the co-operation, or lack of it, among the members of that organization. When there is no co-operation, no spirit of the helping hand freely extended, what might have been an interesting, challenging assignment becomes a depressing chore. But, when people willingly help each other, that spirit of teamwork has a way of removing any unpleasant aspects of the job ahead.

#7 - A TEAM MEMBER IS COURTEOUS Courtesy is defined as gentleness and politeness. It is the medium of social exchange just as money is the medium of economic exchange. Our manners are an extension of ourselves and we should use manners as a bridge to reach people, not as a fence to keep them away. No degree of friendship can justify or condone discourtesy. Courtesy is a habit that is useful toward success in any undertaking. Treat every one you meet with such consideration that his memory of you will be pleasant. No one is likely to say thank you too often. When any service is performed there should be no hesitation in expressing appreciation with a smile.

#8 - A TEAM MEMBER IS PEOPLE-ORIENTED This short anecdote illustrates the meaning of being people-oriented: A business friend who always seemed to be caught up in a constant round of activities and good causes of one sort or another, was once asked whether he found time for hobbies in his busy life. "Oh, yes", he said, "I have a great hobby - meeting people, talking to them and finding out the best about them."

Andrew Carnegie, an American industrialist in the 1800's who is known for having built one of the most powerful corporations in United States history, once said that it marks a big step in a person's development when he or she comes to realize that other people can be called on to help him or her do a better job than can be done alone.

#9 - A TEAM MEMBER IS ENTHUSIASTIC "Enthusiasm is the greatest asset in the world. It beats money and power and influence. Enthusiasm tramples over prejudice and opposition, spurns inaction and like an avalanche overwhelms and engulfs all obstacles." - Anon.

"The more genuine enthusiasm we put into each day's work, the more we will accomplish. And the more we will inspire those around us to greater accomplishments. No assignment is too tough, no responsibility is too great to handle if we approach it with enthusiasm and the desire to do a good job. There seems to be a strange, almost magical power that emanates from people who have honest enthusiasm. We have all seen instances of how enthusiasm seems to breed unbelievable energy and resourcefulness for those who have it. He who is afraid to manifest enthusiasm lest his dignity suffer is not likely to have much dignity to lose by and by. Enthusiasm is the steam which makes the engine go!" - from "The Wonderful Power of Enthusiasm"

Love With Your Heart, Ego Can Kill Your Relationship

It is always easier for a man to seduce a beautiful woman without the loss of egoistic personality and pride. Women are always used to getting a man hit on them all the time. However, this is not the case with some seductive women. Some women find it hard to express their heartfelt feelings regardless of how pressing they might be and when they do; rejection is the last thing they expect. This terribly kills her ego.

I first had my serious relationship when I was 17. My first girlfriend, Myra a beautiful girl an half cast of a Moroccan and a French. Her beauty extended beyond any imaginations. She had gorgeous large eyes and a perfect body for the girl of her age. Her perfect body shape attracted the attention of my friends with some nicknaming her as Jennifer Lopez (J-Lo).

We started dating after two months of meeting but the circumstances that led to our relationship frankly jolted my emotions. One day, Myra told me that she had something important to tell me but she was so embarrassed to say it. I insisted, she took a while but finally opened up. What she said was the least expected.

She opened up her heart and she expressed how much she had fallen in love with me. It was the first time in my life that I once felt the art of a woman's seduction. This came to me as a huge surprise; I never expected this from her, let alone from a gal as beautiful as Myra. However, I tried to hide my happiness as much as possible. I didn't want to admit directly that I liked her as well.

Suddenly, I woke up to the reality. My surprise had taken toll of me and I was almost falling for this supposed trap. My defensiveness did something that no other should ever do to a girl. I gathered enough courage, boosted by my growing ego and I told her that it was wrong for her to love me because it was too early for us to start a relationship.

Myra broke up with me after two weeks. When this occurred, I was the one crying that I loved her; I wanted her to give me another chance. It took me about two years to completely let go of Myra. I felt upbeat and depressed for her loss because of a girl. It is now 12 years down the line and I have not forgotten the look of deception on her face when I faked how I felt for her.

In retrospect, I rejected her proposal in the first place because I felt unworthy of her love. I rationalized things because I felt very uncomfortable at the idea of someone loving me. My reaction was elicited probably by my ego. Some love gurus would call it an "inner game' issue that every human being exhibits.

This story should teach you not to repeat the mistake I made myself. I shouldn't have let my ego take over what I truly felt for Myra. You should learn to love with your heart and not your mind. Do not let your egoistic personality to take over very important decisions of your life.

3 Tips For Men Who Want to See Better Things Happen In Their Lives

There is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting more from your life, for wanting to experience life more like the way that you want to be. While it is true that there are always going to be some ups and some downs that you have to deal with, there are ways to go about making things start to align with what you would like them to be. It may be hard to get yourself out of thinking that things have to be the way that they are for you right now, but if you can just give yourself the chance to see that things can be different, you might just find that life has a funny way of giving you more of what you really want.

Here are 3 tips that you can utilize if you want to see things get better in your life:

1) The more clear you are on what you want to change, the easier it is to start making changes.

I know what it is like to wake up one day and realize that things just are not the way that you'd hoped that they would be. That can mean you are not working the job that you'd like to be working, it could mean that you are not as financially secure as you'd want to be, and it can also mean that you are not in the kind of relationship that you would like to be in. When you are clear on what it is that you want to change, that's when things can really start turning around.

2) You won't get what you want if you are just complaining all of the time.

Personally, I am not too big on a lot of the positive thinking kind of advice that you see most of the time in relation to self improvement. However, I do know that complaining about the way that things are going is not the way to get what you want. You can't complain about how hard it is to get a job and expect that you are going to just get one. And you also can't complain about it being terribly difficult to meet women and expect that to change, either.

3) Following the examples of those who are doing what you want to do helps.

It's always a little bit easier to get on the right track if you have some examples of guys who are doing the things that you want to do. So, if you want to be more in charge of your finances, find examples of men who have turned their life around financially so that you can have some clear examples showing you that it is possible. If you are hoping to have a much more fulfilling dating life, find examples of men who are having the time of their lives meeting women and you should start to see that your attitude changes and that you begin to believe that things can move in the right direction for yourself.

How would you like to make changes like trying to overcome your dating limitations so that you can become more confident and experience what it is like to be a real alpha male who is in charge of your life and getting what you want?

Why Hypnosis Is So Successful In Resolving The Fear Of Public Speaking

Fear of public speaking is a phobia, an illogical state of mind, when we are overwhelmed by completely irrational fears. The fear of public speaking is, in fact, a trance-like hypnotic state, brought on by subconscious triggers. The best way to resolve the fear of public speaking is to use hypnosis to access the subconscious mind and to neutralise those triggers.

Logically, the fear of public speaking does not make much sense. You may be well-prepared, an expert in the field, and there is no real threat whatsoever. But the body reacts with complete panic. Your heart races, you cannot breathe or you hyperventilate, your hands shake or become damp, you start sweating or blushing, the tone of your voice changes, and your mind goes blank. Sometimes it happens suddenly without any warning, but most often nervousness grows far in advance of the event, leading to ever-present anxiety and stress.

What can help to overcome this fear? There are many ways it may be addressed. There are medical solutions, which help with the physical symptoms but not with the fear. Some medical solutions include taking medication, which may have strong side effects or become addictive. There are even more dangerous medical solutions, including a risky surgical procedure called ETS* to stop blushing.

There are also psychological solutions, which while not risky, are not very helpful, because talking about illogical fears and reasoning about them does not help in resolving subconscious fears. With time, it may help, but the process is very slow.

There are also many practical courses and coaching schools, where a supportive environment helps students to progress gradually and build confidence through practice. This usually works very well, but again, it is slow, and may take years. Very often, the fear comes back in formal situations, when the audience includes managers and colleagues from your company.

Hypnotherapy provides a fast solution, which completely dissolves this irrational fear. Even one hypnotherapy session with an experienced hypnotherapist will reduce the fear significantly. There are just a few more sessions required to change the fear into excitement and to build the self-confidence and self-esteem needed for optimal public performance.

The fear of public speaking, like any irrational fear, is usually caused by some past trauma, most often in early childhood. The memory of panic created by trauma is stored at the subconscious level as an essential survival strategy, an instant arousal of the body to fight or take flight. There is no time to think when there is a real danger; the body needs to act quickly to survive. The mind becomes blank, and you are like a terrified three-year-old child.

Every time a similar situation arises, it triggers automatically the same response and strengthens it. It becomes neurologically wired in your mind and in your body as it gets stronger. Even thinking about public speaking triggers butterflies in the stomach, elevated heart rate, sweaty hands, or a hot feeling in your face. After a few terrifying episodes, you start believing that you cannot speak in public and you hypnotise yourself into even more anxiety by negative self-talk.

How specifically does hypnotherapy help to dissolve those early childhood traumas?

Most of the early childhood trauma is not that traumatic when seen through adult eyes. This is why we usually do not remember those first incidents that triggered the fear. However, our mind is like a vast computer and every moment of our life is stored and can be revisited when in deep hypnosis. It is like being three years old again and experiencing the fearful situation, but at the same time having the resources and mind of an adult, not a helpless child. This allows for reasoning and leaving the fears in the past.

There are many ways the experienced hypnotherapist can assist with dissolving the triggers from the past, and the procedure differs, depending on the situation and level of distress. It is important not only to let go of the fears from childhood but also to desensitise the most recent public speaking panics. Yet, it can all be done in one or two hypnotic sessions.

A similar technique allows you to bring to mind and focus on positive memories from the past, times when you were confident and you spoke freely. It is easy to build on these experiences once there is nothing to trigger irrational fears.

The next step is to connect the same triggers with the positive experience and to build confidence and self-esteem for public speaking on every level, conscious and subconscious. At these levels, when the original fears are resolved, the psychological approach of connecting with logic and changing negative self-talk works. The coaching approach is also very effective, now that it feels good to have the real-life experience of speaking in public.

This phase of building confidence, coaching, and replacing negative self-talk with a positive approach can be accelerated in hypnosis. You can experience a positive future public event in hypnotic trance, learn how to coach yourself in hypnosis, watch yourself speaking, and keep improving. The hypnotic state allows you to build on this positive experience to create routine and excellence in a very short period of time.

Hypnotherapy is the best possible solution to resolve the panic of public speaking because it uses hypnosis. Not only do you dehypnotise yourself from illogical fears, but you also hypnotise yourself into confidence and good performance. It takes only a few sessions, and usually much more than the fear of public speaking is resolved. When you build strong self-confidence and self-esteem, general anxiety and social phobia also disappear.

* ETS (Endoscopic thoracic sympathectomy) is a controversial surgical procedure where certain portions of the sympathetic nerve trunk are destroyed. The procedure is now banned in many countries, including Sweden, where it was invented.

Joanna Malinowska is a professional hypnotherapist, counselor, self-hypnosis teacher and Family Constellations facilitator. Joanna Malinowska runs a busy hypnotherapy practise in Sydney CBD, Australia and she is assisting many clients to overcome their fear of public speaking.

The Weapon Is LOVE

In the midst of total chaos, send out as much love as possible.

One light illuminates the darkness.

You may feel persecuted or punished when things go wrong. Remember that the greatest healing balm is love.

In the books "Life and teachings of the masters of the Far East" Baird T. Spalding (1872-1953) describes his adventures in the Himalayas with the spiritual masters. In it he describes teleportation, people walking through fire unharmed, Bi location, and Jesus appearing with Judas and forgiving him. Without the crucifixion there could not have been the Resurrection. Jesus said to his accusers "You could not do this to me without given the power to you from above." John 19:11

In the books Jesus helps protect a village from invading killers and robbers by standing on the mountain and sending out love. His Fathers love through him enveloped the mob and what happened? The invaders started to fight and kill each other because of their hateful ways.

Jesus love actually created and invisible wall of protection against the enemies.

In this world having to watch the injustices by a handful of people can create great sadness and anger. The dark forces are only strengthened by our fear, anger and worry. They feed off of it.

I believe that most of the people on the planet are good. Most people are just trying to get through the day with as much dignity as possible. They give out love to their family and friends and enjoy life as much as possible. Everyone's life has issues. Every person has weaknesses to overcome.

If we could get to the place of sending out love and compassion to this world and all people, maybe we could finally see the positive events that are happening.

Differences in religious beliefs have caused great suffering, created wars, and divided people. In Spirit we are all ONE. In the physical world people try to say, "My truth is the only truth." In fact, there are very similar truths in all religions.

"Transformation is levels of understanding." - my Higher Self, The Great Spirit within me, gave this phrase to me. She said she wanted to stay around and watch me transform as we danced together. Accept peoples "levels of understanding" and know that this is where THEY are on their path. If you don't happen to believe them, so be it. There are as many paths to God as there are people - each in their own beautiful way.

Sending out LOVE could change the world!

Quote by Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

"The day will come when, after harnessing space, the winds, the tides, gravitation, we shall harness for God the energies of love. And, on that day, for the second time in the history of the world, humanity will have discovered fire."

Sharing Resources

I have always loved sharing resources. If I learn something, I want to tell everyone what I learned if I think it will help them. If I find out that a treatment they are considering lists a contraindication, I want to make them aware of it. If find out that there is a natural remedy for something that their allopathic medicine is causing adverse side effects, I want to tell them what it is, how much it costs, who sells the same thing for less money, and where they can buy it.

If they need a doctor, lawyer, accountant, wellness center, daycare center, social organization, training and development programs, mental health centers, interests and aptitude tests, etc., the chances are I know of something or someone or an organization that I can have you contact in many places around the world.

And this I used to do willingly and with gratification when people got the help they needed.

Notice I used the past tense. I used to do this willingly.

But something has definitely changed that has made me pull back and not be so forthcoming about sharing my resources and I can even trace its origins.

I had a brilliant friend. We went to school together, took some of the same classes together, and were involved in each other's personal lives. She graduated from college magna cum laude and went on to become a teacher and after a few years, she went back to school to become an attorney. She was a free-spirit and one of the most interesting friends I had.

Throughout the years, we kept in touch, visited each other even after I moved halfway across the country, and no matter how long we had been out of touch, when we got together, we were amazed that we were always involved in the same interests and the same studies without ever having spoken of them.

During those years, I had a client who was probably the best child psychologist in her state. She covered all the schools, specializing in special education, and was well known for her work with special needs children. Her evaluations were one of a kind; she left no stone unturned and she was the strongest advocate for these children.

One day she called me and told me about one of her children being put in the middle of a contentious lawsuit. She didn't know an attorney who could represent the welfare of this child with the preparation of the case and the delicacy that was required. And there I was, wanting to share my resources with her.

My friend had won a difficult landmark case that involved her setting a legal precedent and her name was now in the law books. So who better to refer my client to than my friend?

Hindsight has remarkable 20/20 vision and, in hindsight, I should have realized that my friend's "free-spiritedness" that was so refreshing for me, would not pair well with my client's perfectionist nature, especially when it involved her special needs students.

My client kept calling my friend to try to get her to discuss the case and go over her research; she wanted to be part of the process in preparing the case. My friend kept assuring her that she had everything under control and not to worry about it. Since I had spoken so highly of my friend, my client took a deep breath and tried not to worry about this case.

The day it went to court, my client and my friend met for the first time outside the courthouse and my client realized within minutes of meeting her that she had not prepared the case; she was walking into the courtroom without a shred of preparation.

My client had never lost a case for her special needs students before that day. In all the years she held her position in the school system, this was the first time she had to face the parents of a child and apologize for failing their child.

Remarkably, I didn't lose my client but I did lose my friend. My client stayed with me for the next couple of decades but my friend never called me after that day and we had been friends for thirty years.

That was a deep learning experience for me. Since then, I have never referred a friend to a client nor a client to a friend. This is something I profoundly regret because my friends and my clients are my most treasured resources. They could truly help each other, all things considered, but I would never take that chance again.

I even find myself backing away from recommending other resources which, in the past, I would have shared willingly. Instead of recommending a specific doctor or lawyer, I now tell people to get in touch with their county medical association or their county bar association for referrals. A far cry from what I used to do.

There are so many other resources that I used to share. I'm not particularly afraid of lawsuits even though we have become a litigious society but I am apprehensive about my friends and my clients having bad experiences due to my recommendations.

So, now I sit with mental lists of all the resources of all the things throughout the world that could help people but most of them go unspoken. Experience is a painful teacher.

How to Be With the Women You Like

If you feel you are going to be alone again on New Year then you don't really need to despair and just take a few steps in order to pick up that nice girl who will be spending the night with you. But many men make the mistake of acting desperate when they will want to be with a woman and the result is they won't get any lady impressed, but rather lured away.

So what do you actually need to do in order to get the attention of that special lady you might be looking at while reading this article?

1. First of all you need not to act desperate if you want to approach her. Women don't like guys that seem like they just want to get a weight off their shoulders by hooking up with them only for a reason or two and then dumping them. Women love stable relationships and they will see if you want something serious or just need to use her.

2. Did you know that guys who are funny will have at least twice as much chances for hooking up with them? So how about you act a little funny (but not stupid!) and try to impress her this way? Maybe order a drink if you're in a bar and make up a very short story about how once you ordered the same drink for a wonderful lady like her, but she left before the bartender could even bring it.

3. Note that if you want to learn how to pick a woman you will need to have style (yes, swag as well). So it's not only in your attitude, but also in the clothes you're wearing. Do you think a woman will look at a guy who is wearing baggy pants, a Slim Shady style cap and has the accent of a Brooklyn boy? No way! Be a gentleman in both looks and attitude, but don't overdo it. Be yourself and try to say only things that you would normally be able to say to a lady. If you force yourself to saying a line that you heard in a movie and it was impressive, it won't sound natural to her. So you will maybe make a fool of yourself.

4. Be honest with her. Women absolutely HATE liars (like many of us of course). If you want something from her, just tell her in a way that is not too direct or too personal. Make sure you use subtle meaning in your words and make sure that your body language and mimic will contribute to that.

5. Last but not least, picking up women requires practice. You might not get it in the first one, but after you will try picking up women for a few times, you will get it. You won't be nervous talking to them anymore nor will you feel that way when you'll show the gentleman inside you.

Learning how pick up the woman you like is not hard and it basically relies on being yourself. Add to that the manners your mother taught you and some personality and humor and you have the perfect ingredients for picking up any "hot momma" out there (as Johnny Bravo would say)!

By the way, do you want the formula for approaching any woman, anywhere and know exactly

Your Inner Self

I have always admired those who always knew what they wanted to do with their life. Some people knew the exact career they wanted to pursue, while others knew the kind of man they wanted to marry, and how many children they wanted to have.

Life changes you and sometimes it changes the direction you want to go. Once you adjust to your situation you then proceed to turn your plans to prosper into fruition. When you start to understand your inner self, you realize that it not about likes and dislikes, it is about emotions. Note what circumstances you are in and the emotions that it brings out. This is just one of the many layers to your inner self.

Acknowledgement of who you are is only one layer of recognition; there are more layers as well. Your inner self is like a cocoon, you peel away layer after layer. Each layer has a different lesson, such as; disappointment, trust, grief, jealousy, anger, forgiveness, and guilt. You will learn to accept the emotion, replay the circumstance, and acknowledge that holding onto that emotion is not a part of who you are; you are finally at peace with that emotion. That emotion will no longer have an impact on you. Once you have found the middle, the center of your being and recognize your true inner self, you awaken out of your cocoon. Every experience that you have will change you. Everything you see; you will now see differently. What use to be important to you is still important, but on a different level. You will find a new way of turning a negative experience into a positive one.

As your awareness grows you will understand that life is not about you. It is about ALL life. You see qualities in others and you bring awareness to them so that they might see them as well. You turn pain into comfort. A kind heart can turn a frown into a smile with the smallest gesture.

As your awareness grows foreign lands don't seem so distant. As your awareness grows you don't see one, you see millions. When you see your inner self you will also see the value of your true self. You will realize your own self-worth once you have taken the journey.

Getting to know our inner self is a journey through all the years of situations and emotions. Once you begin to sort through it, you will realize your own self-worth.
