Self Improvement Month - Is It True That There Is Something Called A Self-Improvement Month?

If we try to find out of all the months which is best for self improvement, the answer is the month of November. It is believed by many as the month of self improvement. It is also believed to be the best time to engage in different types of works which would help us improve over all as a person, for example registering for writing or for the personality enhancement classes, learning a different hobby or learning about arts and craft, reading books, watching educational and inspiring shows or going for a vacation with the family to spend time with them.

The confusion lies in, is there really something like self improvement month? For those whose answer is in affirmative, it certainly is the month of November.

Going at a deeper level, actually every month should be for self improvement and improvement of anyone should not be confined to time and period rather whenever the need for improvement is felt, the person should work on it head on. Anytime is the best time for improvement and improvement doesn't depend on any particular time of the day, week, month or year rather every second and minute is right for improvement.

Man is bestowed with intellect, that's why man is above all creations of God. Man is superior to all beings. Therefore we must improve every single day and use our intellect and energy towards improvement. Keeping all such endeavors for a single month amounts to limiting ourselves, which is an insult to us and our abilities.

Since its been ruled out now about a particular month being best for our improvement, so we must focus our mind on improving ourselves and our surroundings. How do we so this? Change is of various types, whether we should opt for physical change, emotional change, improving skills or psychological change or anything else that we would want to change to improve. Whatever one decides, they should stick to it and make it take shape.

Do you want to manage stress? Read articles to get information regarding its management or take part in a stress management program .Do you want to learn knitting or the way a basket is woven, once you have decided, just do it. Nothing can stop you from doing only if you make up your mind to do it. Have you desired to go for surfing, then go for it, and do it now, what should you wait for to do so?

Don't prepare to live just live the life you have always wanted to, and the best way you have ever wanted to. This builds self confidence in people and guides them to more fruitful life and these people engage in things which would eventually take them to fulfill what they always dreamt about and always have been wanting. To live a life more fulfilling and satisfying should be enough to motivate you.

Fear that is good is apparent before you decision to self-improve and fear that is bad occurs as you are trying to achieve your self-improvement goal.

Picture someone else who has already achieved what you are trying to do. Knowing that someone else can achieve your goal can give you a psychological incentive to do so too.
Make a list of the things that could happen to you if you do not achieve your self-improvement goal. How much would you lose if these things happened?
Now picture yourself after you have successfully completed all the steps necessary to achieve your self-improvement goal. What do you look like? How is your life different?

You can overcome fear and successfully say no to this unwelcome companion if you use psychology as a tool.

Fear that motivates you to start a self-improvement project is good and fear that stops you from achieving your self-improvement goal is bad. Only you can tell if the fear you are experiencing will motivate your self-improvement or hinder it.

Self Improvement - The New Age Way Of Development!

We live in such a fast-paced world that just attaining our competencies does not appear to be sufficient anymore. It is true that very frequently, a mere college degree would be of no use if we sincerely wish to make it big. If we seek to truly shine and outclass everybody, we should be capable of giving something more, such as an unusual skill, relative expertise in a specific type of software, or ability to speak in three or more languages. Just targeting cent percent just does not add up.

It is due to this that many of us elect to register for classes and programs in self-improvement. Apart from societal and interacting purposes, courses on self-improvement have become the need of the hour, rather than simply a way to improve what we already possess or to know about a new pursuit.

Nevertheless, classes in self-improvement tend to be expensive and take up a lot of time. Taking into account that most of us lead hectic lives, always with our PDAs or laptops, physical involvement is now a thing of the past. Hence, the query arises regarding the possible ways to engage in programs on self-improvement without putting in too much of an effort.

The answer is quite simple. Just pick up a book or CD on self-improvement.

In case you are miserly and do not intend to cough up money for these courses, then fortune has favored you since the web makes available plenty of CDs on self-improvement that you can order for free. The reason for this is that due to the existence of self-improvement advisors and the growing demand for them, a majority of these self-styled specialists are agreeable to provide what they are familiar with for free.

Now, if you go through the local advertisements or the yellow pages, you will discover that there is at least a single individual, who is prepared to divulge his knowledge without charging a penny. There are innumerable information philanthropists in existence and sometimes it becomes quite maddening (or perhaps it is their way of gaining prominence).

Whatever may be their intentions for dispensing free CDs on self-improvement, you are the ultimate gainer. Therefore, you can simply relax and revel in all the information that you can take in, at the same time thanking the good God that economic principles are serving to fulfill your best interests.

Now, you have to be cautious when selecting CDs on self-improvement. Since they are offered free of charge, there is always, a possibility that a few of them will be cutting back on substance and quality, and you will be left with more queries than you had earlier. A badly recorded CD also is a big time-waster and makes you very aggravated and incensed at not getting the needed information.

From an expert viewpoint, it is advisable that you purchase genuine CDs on self-improvement, if you really are interested in getting top value. Certainly, you need to pay a price, but these CDs will definitely worth the money you put in. Moreover, those free CDs on self-improvement may in all likelihood, be recorded by relative strangers whose qualifications are suspect or dubious. It is preferable that you obtain the proper information from trustworthy sources, rather than, trying to avoid possible nuisances and half-truths.

10 Questions to Prepare Yourself For Self Improvement

Before you can take the steps towards improving yourself you need to do a bit of self analysis. Get an understanding of what really makes you tick. Only by understanding yourself can you truly make positive transitions in your life.

I often meet people who tell me they are really content with their life and the way things are. This is often the fact because most people find it hard to think of anything else. However, when they have to answer these questions they often find the real issues at hand that has been holding them back from achieving what they believe to be success.

Here are 10 questions you should ask yourself and honestly answer. Write them down on a piece of paper or in a pad so you can reflect on them at a later date. Not only will this help you understand if your transformation is really occurring but it will serve as a reminder why you decided to undertake such a journey.

So what are these questions you should ask yourself before undertaking any self improvement:

What do I really want? - You probably have many things you want but what do you want to do with your life? Write it down no matter what it is or how important it is. Look at the things you are good at as this may help you realize what you really want to do with your life. Consider them as small steps toward your ultimate goal.

Should I really change? - Take the time to think if you really want to change. If you don't really want to change you will be your own enemy toward your success. Write down the reasons why you want to change as they will reaffirm you desire. These will be very powerful if you digress or lapse in your self-improvement plans.

What are the positives of improving yourself? - Identify the positive outcomes of improving yourself. It can be difficult during your journey of self-improvement if you don't know what to expect when you have achieved them. These positives will only help you reenforce your needs and desires to improve yourself.

Am I comfortable with what I'm doing? - Be honest with yourself. If you are comfortable with what you are doing it may be difficult to change. Self-improvement is not easy and will require dedication. Falling into old habits will be easy and your commitment to your goals will be essential for your success.

What have I done for myself? - Look at your past and record when you have done something for yourself. Mark them as successful or unsuccessful and then write down the reasons why. Is there a trend of success or failure? Analyse your responses and identify if your current aspirations to improve yourself is destined for success or failure. It may highlight areas to avoid or techniques to reuse.

Am I happy at where I am today? - Look at yourself and where you are in life. Are you where you wanted to be when you where a child? Has your aspirations changed? If you are happy can you still be even better? Imagine what you could be as it is what you can be.

Am I happy socially? - Review your social life and would you like to change it? How would you like to change it and do you firmly believe it to be possible? This will help you identify what you will need to do should you want to change in this area.

How much could I have? - Consider what you could have and how much you want. This could be money, friends, success or anything else. Now consider the work involved in getting this and are you ready to invest yourself towards these aspirations. You may need to change the amount you want.

What truly motivates me? - The key to any self-improvement goal is motivation. It could be money, food, friendship, love or something else. Pick the one that truly motivates you. Whatever it is, it will help you define your self-improvement goals to ensure your success. Use it as a reward for achieving your goals.

What makes me tick? - From the other nine questions you should be able to easily describe yourself and what makes you tick as an individual. Write this down as your personal statement. A description of your true self.

Now, you can be anything you want to be and through this self analysis you should have identified if you are ready and really want to change. Self-improvement is never easy but if you understand yourself it can certainly be easier. Consider self-improvement to be like climbing a mountain but when you get to the top you know you have achieved something worthwhile. You must remember that self-improvement is more than just changing yourself but something that you really want.

Be Specific

Now that you have chosen an area of your life that needs improvement, be specific about the improvements you would like to make. For example, perhaps the overall goal was to improve your health. The specific goals could be lose twenty pounds, work to come off blood pressure medication or to start on an exercise plan.

If the general goal is work related, the specific goals could be arrive to work thirty minutes earlier or finish at least one project per day.

The more specific your goals, the easier it will be to measure your success.

Reward Yourself

When you realize that you have met a milestone in your journey for self improvement, reward yourself. The reward does not have to be anything big. If you lose ten pounds, buy yourself a new outfit. If you finish a project within deadline, treat yourself to a long lunch at your favorite restaurant.

Taking the time to wallow in your success is important on a list of self improvement ideas. This will not only help you stay motivated, but it will allow you to build self confidence as you celebrate each goal.

Find the Positive

If you are the type of person who focuses on all that you think is wrong with you, you need to stop that. It is hard to accomplish anything in the area of self improvement when you constantly dwell on your flaws. Instead, focus on your positive traits.

Doing so will make you more likely to rely on those strengths in order to reach you stated goals.

Reach Out

Many people have found that a great step toward self improvement is helping someone else. Be a mentor to a younger person at your job. Volunteer to read to children in the local hospital or to serve dinner at a soup kitchen.

Finding ways to give of yourself is one of the most effective self improvement ideas you will ever find. It allows you to take the focus off of you and to use your talents and abilities to help someone who needs it.

The ABC's of Self-improvement - What it Is, What to Look For

According to a Marketdata Enterprises market report, the U.S. self-improvement market is worth $9.6 Billion. It's a huge business and it attracts a lot of attention. Yet, for all its importance, most people fail to understand what it's all about.

A lot of people who are attracted to the art and science of self-improvement are motivated by the lure of money. They want to know better and more expedient ways of climbing the ladder of financial success. It's no accident that the bible of the self-improvement world is called, Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.

That is really unfortunate because financial success is really only a relatively small part of what self-improvement should be about. First and foremost, self-improvement should be about finding ways of having a more successful life and money is only a part of that equation.

Until that is understood, all the personal work done in self-improvement is next to useless. Money may be essential to a happy life but it's only an aspect of the whole picture. This has been clearly demonstrated in the stories of people who have achieved great levels of financial success and were left so disillusioned that they ended up committing suicide.

Self-improvement is mostly about acquiring the tools and the knowledge necessary to take control of our life in all of its aspects. It's about learning how to control the internal Master System that directs all human behavior.

Man is without a doubt the most sophisticated and complex creation or invention on Planet Earth - yet it did not come with an Owner's Manual. That is what the science of self-improvement is all about. It's the next best thing to that Owner's Manual.

The emphasis in self-development should be on Personal Control and not exclusively on financial success. This point cannot be stressed enough because it's the number one reason that people get into any of the self-help disciplines and fail.

The science of making money is not all that complex. It could be summed up in a few sentences: 1) Be obsessed with money. 2) Keep on trying to find new ways of making money. 3) Work very hard and save. Anything added to that is superfluous. Nothing else is needed.

On the other hand, real self-improvement is a life-long process. It's not about learning new tricks on how to influence people. It's about understanding why we do what we do, about fundamental personality change and about character building.

The title says it all, self-improvement. It's about improving who we are as humans. It's about learning that our past does not equate our future. It's about coming to grip with the fact that it is possible to change and finding out how those changes can be affected.

The time invested in self-improvement can yield amazing returns. It can open the door to great achievements, transform lives and turn a meaningless existence into a world of greatness. No one has ever achieved anything worthwhile without using the principles found in the science of self-improvement.

Like any other discipline, self-improvement requires going through the theory and practice parts of that science. Learning without doing is moot. It does require work, discipline and diligence. It is a lifelong process, nothing that can be done overnight. The results are proportional to the time and efforts invested.

In one word, self-improvement is about understanding what motivates us to do the thing that we do and about character building. Once that this is understood, we are ready to plunge into the wonderful world of self-improvement knowing that our expectations will be met.

Women Self Improvement - You Have the Power Within

There was a time in the United States when women were not considered to be the equal of men. This absurdity culminated in the Suffragette Movement of Women. Women had been denied the right to vote, and it necessitated a Constitutional Amendment passed by the Senate and Congress of the United States in order for women to acquire the right to vote. This right should have been inalienable, and guaranteed under the Constitution of the United States. But, it wasn't. Women had to fight for their right to vote on an equal standing with men, and they did it.

Women self improvement in the early 1900's was borne from their inner strength. Women were not going to accept inferior treatment in the eyes of the law and in the eyes of their countrymen.

Women self improvement movements are still fighting public battles for equal treatment under the law. One of these issues revolves around equal pay with men for doing the same job. There are also job classifications in which women are fighting sexual discrimination, such as in the fire fighting realm and in law enforcement. However, women today have wonderful role models to lend them courage, and there are examples for women self improvement in all walks of life. In the political arena, both the Democratic Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, and the Republican former Runner for the Vice-Presidency of the United States, Sarah Palin, are prime examples of the women self improvement movement.

Both these women realized that they had the abilities to make changes to better the world in which we live, and they found the inner strength to persevere in order to reach their goals.

They both encountered impediments along the way. However, they never became discouraged, because they believed in themselves, and heeded the calling of their inner voice to meet the challenge undaunted and unafraid. Today, these ladies shine as beacons of light for the women self improvement train to follow them down the tracks. It is up to women to follow their examples and derive women self improvement by believing in themselves.

Women self improvement comes from changing a mindset, albeit an erroneous one, that renders women a subservient position in society. There are women self improvement techniques that can help them gain the self-confidence, poise, and gallantry to attain what is their rightful due in society. There is nothing in this world that you, as a woman, cannot accomplish. You can advance to the C.E.O. position of an agency; you can start your own business, and, someday, you can be President. You have the power within yourself to make all things possible.

Today, women self improvement can be actualized in opportunities available in the business world. There are grants available for women to start and expand businesses. Our lawmakers understand that the cards have been stacked against women for too long, and they have finally decided to give women an equal playing field with men. Women self improvement books, women self improvement tapes and CD's, and women self improvement audio tapes are available in the self-help section of major book stores and online on their websites.

Self improvement is a continuous process. Some of us do it either purposely or in a haphazard manner. Those who are serious about achieving their goals take self improvement seriously. Two items that are of major importance when making self improvements are:

A. CRITICISING YOURSELF!

One major drawback to self improvement is when you begin to criticize yourself. This criticism is ingrained in you through the social behavior in out society. A good example of this would be the time in school when you took an examination and you get criticized on your results. This behavior and feed back pattern starts very early in life. This behavior continues in school and workplace as long as you live through personal evaluations.

This so called process of assessing your strengths and weaknesses raises self doubt about your abilities although the intention of it is to promote self development. So, how do you overcome this self defeating feeling?

Simple: B. TAKE STOCK IN YOURSELF. Be conscious of negative influences and cancel them out with positive ones.

1. Look at your strengths. See what you have done well and pat yourself on the back for your accomplishments. Take note of your weaknesses and make corrections. Do not let others judge you. You make your own evaluations of yourself. Find someone who you trust and who knows your ability and take their feedback and if it makes sense work on it.

2. Write down a list of your achievements. Keep a journal if you like. Your self esteem will skyrocket and you will become highly motivated to achieve more. Facing a challenge will become easier. You will have the enthusiasm and zest to continue. You will be on a roll. Self Improvement eBooks - 4 Factors You Must Consider Before You Buy Self Improvement eBooks

For achieving success in life you always need a positive frame of mind. Many times you must have wondered how other people around you have manage do well in life whereas you are just struggling. There are several eBooks on self improvement available in the market but not all of them are effective enough. So to get hold of an effective eBook on self improvement you need to always consider four important factors that we have outlined in this article for you.

Before buying a self improvement eBook you need to consider who the author of the eBook is.

The name of the author matters a lot as it determines how effective that book will be for the readers. Always go for the author who has a long reputation of writing effective and best eBooks. In case if you go for an unknown author then you need to find the background of the author.

This you can do by referring to other people for a general feed back about the author's performances or else you can also make use of the internet to get the feed back about the author writing success.

Self Improvement - What Do You Improve?

The term self improvement is a bit misleading and is sometimes erroneously interrupted. What do you really improve? You don't improve your "self" and you don't improve your "spirit". You learn to develop certain skills that can help you go through life. You learn to look at things from a different, broader viewpoint, and you learn to forego limiting thoughts and habits.

You don't improve something that does not exist in you. You improve and develop some skills that are already in you, but are weak, in a dormant state, or negatively expressed.

Self improvement is actually not "Improving yourself", so much as changing your point of view, changing the way you look at yourself and the world, and strengthening and developing certain skills.

Self improvement is about developing:

Stronger willpower.
Better self discipline.
Better concentration.
Some degree of emotional and mental detachment.
More patience.
More tolerance.
Getting rid of negative or weakening habits and developing new ones.
Learning to think more positively.
Learning to be more kind and loving.

This is a partial list of the aims of self improvement.

Improvement requires work

The important point to remember is that everything worthwhile in life needs some effort and time to gain. There is no instant improvement or development of any skill. There are books and programs that promise immediate success, and there are many who buy them, thinking that these books or programs will immediately change their life. People expect and look for some kind of a miracle to change their life instantly, and often get disappointed when this does not happen.

There are many you buy books, but never read them. Some start practicing a certain technique or program and then stop after a short while. In order to get results from self improvement books, programs and techniques you need to practice day after day. You have to study, work and train yourself the same way if you wanted to be a doctor, a pilot, an engineer or an Olympic athlete. This is something most people won't do, because they consider it too much work.

Some might ask, "Will my life improve, if I practice some "self improvement" techniques?" Anything you do to develop positive habits and skills will help you handle your life and circumstances in a better and more successful way.

Sometimes, when people finally decide to be more practical then just reading a book and expecting miracles, they find that there are obstacles on their path, and if they don't posses enough inner strength, they might drop the whole idea.

When starting anything new, one often becomes more aware of problems and obstacles. They are not new. They were there all the time, but because you want to make changes you become more aware of them. Don't let them daunt your spirit. If you continue, they will get weaker in time, and you will be able to ignore them and overcome them.

They are never moving forward. They never hope for the best. This is why they remain at the same spot you left them years ago.

Use Self Improvement & Personal Development Self-Help Strategies to Create Your Dream Life

Ever wonder what self-help personal development or self improvement, means? Let me quickly explain.

Improving any area(s) of your life is classed as self improvement and/or personal development. Areas of your life could include, health, relationships, your psychology, you know, that sort of thing. And what about the self-help bit? Well, if you "help yourself", that is classed as self-help. Now that's out of the way, I have a question...

What's the biggest wrong doing in life?...

Wasting time and ultimately, YOUR LIFE!

Here's the thing though...

By the time most people discover this, it's already actually happened! And, you know what?...

Living with regret is not a good thing, it hurts - really, REALLY hurts!

Life isn't a dress rehearsal, we're live and it's lights, camera, ACTION! You don't want to mess up your role now, do you?

Imagine for a minute...

If you have to, shut your eyes and vision this. Everyday, thousands and thousands of people, including babies, die young or unexpectedly. You must have heard of, or know of someone who has...

If everybody that dies before their time had the chance to, don't you think they would love to have another crack at the whip and be ALIVE, living?

Of course, the answer is YES, right? So let's pay tribute to those lives that have been lost. How? Simply by living your life to the FULLEST!...

I'll explain it another way. If you look back over you life to date, are you happy with the way you lived it? did you even live it? If NO, you must change that, starting NOW! Self improvement is an absolute MUST, and NOT a should.

Take life for granted at your peril! No procrastination either, besides, do you know for a fact there will be a 'later', for you? Life comes and goes in a second. Do you know how many seconds you have left? I thought NOT!

I hope I've convinced you to make the right choice and make the MOST of your life!

Sorry for the tough love, it's just so important, I had to talk to you like that! I promise I'll go easy on you on the rest of this page ;-).

Why pay an expensive life coach to achieve stuff that you can achieve on your own, saving you both time and money. How? Look for some good self improvement strategies, free of charge, of course! The good news, there are loads of these on the net...

Self improvement is simple, but it's NOT easy! The reason why this stuff is simple, is because you know most of it already, it's mainly common sense really. You just need reminding, and then be supplied with some practical, doable strategies to help you along the way. You supply the commitment and perseverance, I promise you...

You'll empower yourself with CRUCIAL life skills!

And...

The best bit is...

Good Self-help personal development and self improvement strategies can be found FREE of charge on the Internet. You've never had it so good, trust me!

A good self improvement, personal development self help website, preferably should be FREE, but more importantly focus teaching you how to Live YOUR Dream Life!

Notice I said YOUR dream life? You define YOUR dream life, not anyone else. It's all about you!

So, the million dollar question is...

Are you going to CHOOSE to start living your DREAM Life?

Yes?...

Good, you're my type of person.

Ishmail Downes, self improvement strategist and author of the FREE self improvement website "Self-Improvement-Strategies.Net" has created a FREE audio program entitled "Live Your DREAM Life" which teaches you how to do exactly that! Self Improvement Methods and Techniques

Thankfully in the present time we live there are all sorts of self improvement methods and techniques that are readily available to each and everyone of us. They are options available just about everywhere, sometimes leaving us a bit overwhelmed with choosing the method or technique that is right for us.

Some methods are free, some methods are expensive. It depends on what you are looking to get out of your self improvement guidance advice. It is very possible to take advice from a variety of sources and form an opinion of your own that could really help you improve your present situation.

I have done this time and time again and have found that collaboration of guidance from multiple sources will really allow you to expand your thoughts on self improvement in general. It's easier said than done however. If you are someone who finds that your mind wanders from time to time, you may want to look into self improvement audio methods, or self improvement visual methods that may help you succeed.

Self improvement doesn't always come easy for some. It's something that you have to work at, build at, and put into action. If you understand the key elements of motivation and self improvement, you are already on the right path to success. If you are unsure about what steps are necessary, get ready to prepare yourself for some extensive research. This research can take a good deal of time, but it is very worth it in the end.

Always remember to have a good balance during your self improvement research. Learn to love the topic you are researching, because if you approach certain methods with a positive attitude, you'll be able to comprehend what you are reading much more easier than simply speed reading through a book of techniques.

Self improvement advice can be found in a variety of forms. Books, magazines, publications, dvds, and audio are usually the most common methods of self improvement. Just like any type of studying, you will have to set some valuable time aside so that you can remain focused on educating yourself to the full extent possible. Sure it can be a tiresome journey when reading methods that you don't think apply to you, but holding on to your determination to learn the facts and opinions of others is quite essential.

Never be afraid to ask for professional guidance when it comes self improvement. Once you have learned to experience complete focus, increased energy, deep relaxation, and full concentration, you'll be well on your way to increasing your quality of life.

What Is Self Improvement?

Just what is self improvement? You see this term bandied about almost everywhere; on the net, in book shops and on television. There are countless articles praising this method or that method of self improvement, can they really all work?

Just to make things worse, there are other terms which seem to mean the same or similar. Terms such as 'personal development', 'self help' etc.. In the end, anyone can just end up feeling dizzy and confused. So what really is 'self-improvement'?

Take a step back for a moment and look at the two words; self and improvement. Doesn't it seem so simple and obvious? We are talking about making yourself better. Yet, if we are making ourselves better, doesn't that mean that we are somehow unwell or unfit?

I know when I am unwell medically, I often can tell when I am feeling less fit than at other times. These, though, are physical indicators; how can we tell when our 'self' is unwell? Is there some sort of pain in the psyche, some ache in the aura or a contusion in the consciousness that we should be aware of?

In fact, few people who embark upon self improvement are, in any way, unwell. They are often very lucid, intelligent and thoughtful people who are seeking, in some way, to improve themselves.

A question we should try to answer is whether we are trying to better ourselves or to be better than other people. It is my belief that self improvement is not about trying to be better than someone else, it is about being better yourself. I do, sometimes, worry though that people embark upon self improvement as if it were a competition and that the goal is to be better than your work colleagues, your neighbors or your friends.

It is better that you embark upon a course or program of self improvement by using your current 'self' as a baseline. You can then select an area of your 'self' or your life that you would like to improve. Forget other people, except perhaps for role-models or inspirational people, you are not competing with other people, you are simply working on your 'self'. That, it seems, would be the true essence of self improvement.

Learn About Success And Self-Improvement - Two Sides Of The Same Coin

There is a purpose in everything that comes our way. All happenings in our life are interlinked. We must learn to turn our cloud inside out to see the silver lining. We must learn to treat failures and embarrassments as stepping stones to success and self-improvement.

Patch Adams is one such great movie that drives home the point. If you remember, Hunter "patch" Adams meets failure at the board exams as a medical student which leads him through months of depression, melancholy and suicidal tendencies to such an extent that he voluntarily seeks psychiatric help by admitting himself in a ward of psychiatric patients. His stay there enables him to meet patients with a variety of mental ailments like mental retardation, schizophrenia, catatonic patients, etc. Trying to help them, Patch finds that his own ailments are treated and gets back on track. Finally one morning he wakes up to the realization that even after all the trauma he has undergone, his desire to become a doctor still burns strong. His positive attitude and efforts at self-improvement brought success not only for himself, but also to those around him and made a lot of difference to their quality of life. Yes, He went on to become the best doctor of his country.

So, success and self-improvement are two sides of the same coin. Friends, do make a start with towards both with these tips.

"Stop thinking yourself as failures. You are only human. Accept your failures and move on to make yourself acceptable to others."

"When you see someone far superior to yourself, instead of indulging in self-pity, think of self-improvement. Think of acquiring inner beauty instead of only a good physique."

"When you meet people feeling low and down, reach down to pull them up. Don't slip down yourself in order to sympathize with them."

"This whole world is a huge school where you learn from your mistakes and move on. A failure in a science quiz should never make you feel doomed and stupid. It's not the end of the world. Always give scope for self-improvement."

"Try improving yourself in things one thing by one. You can't turn yourself into a perfect person at the crack of a whip. Give yourself time."

"Self improvement leads to personality development, inner contentment, self-confidence and self-esteem. The natural outcome is Success."

"Break your goals into small achievable and meaningful parts. Don't expect dramatic results. Remember that each small achievement at self-improvement leads to a better YOU."

"Little do we realize that our small appreciations or sincere greetings set up pleasant chain-reactions in other people's lives that are so important to them. When we appreciate the beautiful people and things around us, we ourselves don a little of that beauty in others' eyes."

"When you feel the positive effects of self-improvement and change, you are eager for your friends to try self-improvement too. But remember never to force anyone to follow you. It takes all kinds to make the world and in all probability, your friends will resent it."

Over-night success is just a myth. This life we go through is a big school. It is important to appreciate what we have. We all have our own lessons to learn. When we are ready to learn from life's experiences and our interactions with the people around us, we are well on the way to self-improvement and success.

Self-Improvement in Numbers

I'm an expert in self-improvement. Not the actual act of self-improving, I just happen to be able to summarize about every other book in your local store's self-help section. It is not something I am proud of, but life is a bumpy road and we find ourselves in seemingly helpless situations where we are willing to search underneath any rock for a clue. Don't get me wrong; I have certainly gotten better at motivating myself towards more productive and useful actions. Pop psychology, NLP, hypnosis, meditation, various other self-help books - I've tried it all, and everyone has their own success stories. However, I've noticed there is a key to all self-improvement that is very often overlooked- the importance of quantifying your progress!

The single most important thing to improving your self, next to writing and documenting your progress and lessons learned, is knowing how to objectively measure change. If you measure your success just based on how good or bad you feel about a situation, then you are misguiding yourself and any progress you make will be short-lived at best. In the realm of true self-improvement, there will be times when you are making great leaps in progress but feel shitty, and other times where you will feel great but aren't making any progress at all.

It is important to follow your heart, but more importantly you need to rely on the skills of your mind and rational thought. Emotions and feelings are an inevitable part of life (and there are times where they must be embraced) but recognize them for what they often are in the realm of self-improvement - mud in your mind, clouds in your judgment. Be an empiricist, and be aware that a scientist is only as good as his point of observation.

How do you quantify your progress? Well, to put it simply, you assign numbers to the attributes and skills you want to improve. But it gets a bit more complicated then that. How do you think a bodybuilder knows he is improving? Does he judge his progress by the way he feels when he wakes up in the morning? Of course not. Some days he wakes up and he feels energized, other times he wakes up and feels sore, but the bodybuilder knows he is only as good as he performs that day in the gym - there is no other reasonable way to measure his success. He knows he is improving because he can lift X more weight than he could have the month before.

This example is very intuitive to most, but then people don't follow how the lesson applies to all kinds of self-improvement, whether it is being social, studying habits, eating healthy, learning the guitar, how to throw a baseball, or any other skill. Everything can be translated into numbers - and as the old adage goes: numbers don't lie.

With that understood, you can't simply choose any kind of measurement, there is going to need to be some thought put into this beforehand! First ask yourself what exactly you want to improve. This may be something simple and direct such as "how fast I can throw a baseball" or it could be something more complicated and multi-dimensional such as "becoming a better pitcher" (which includes a variety of "subskills", not just how fast you can throw).

If you find yourself saying you want to be better at something, a quality, then it takes a bit of creativity in coming up with the most effective way to quantify your measurements. You may need to play around with your measuring equation before finding something that maximizes your output (so to speak). For example, becoming a better pitcher, there are a variety of things you may want to pay attention to: win/loss ratio, earned run average (ERA), innings pitched, etc. These are in-game statistics, but there are also things you can work on outside of the game: hours practiced a week. During practice you can break down your focus into more specific attributes: throw faster, throw more strikes (better accuracy), less hanging curveballs, less wild pitches.

First, take the skill or behavior you want to improve, then dissect it down into its most basic parts. Pay attention to any key terms that indicate potential measuring: more/less, faster/slower (speed), heavier/lighter (mass), bigger/smaller (size), further/closer (distance), sooner/later (time), etc. Your choice for measurement is important: make sure it is something that is as close and causally related to getting where you want with whatever behavior or skill you are trying to shape.

Once you have figured out the basics write them down somewhere. Figure out which subskills you want to work on, the best way to measure them, how often you will measure them. Then set goals. Where do you want to be in a week, month, year? Build a rough outline: I one time created a self-improvement program in Microsoft Excel that I stuck to for a full two years - with great success! On top of all your measurements, keep a diary and journal entry where you can let out the emotional side of your improving. Here you can discuss how you feel, what mental blocks may be holding you back, and your ideas for overcoming them.

Before I complete this segment, let me mention another great thing about numbers: they are very suggestive. Even if you never liked math, our minds love numbers. Numbers actually help to make our improvements feel more real. When we see that we can run an extra mile this week than we could the previous one - it is that much more satisfying. This knowledge can motivate us to go further, literally...to go that extra mile, that extra hour, that one less piece of cake, or one less cigarette. Numbers are a direct language to the subconscious mind, they have very simple implications (are you improving or not improving?). So the next time you are filling out your latest self-improvement log in your diary try to take out the yardstick and write down some numbers. Stay consistent, bring out your best scientist, and see the payoff.

The Road to Success Begins With Self Improvement - 9 Steps to Get You Started

Everything that happens to us happens for a reason.  And sometimes, it can be a catalyst for great things to come.  Instead of beating yourself up over past heartaches, disappointments, and failures; treat them as learning opportunities and use them as tools for self improvement and success.

When you recognize opportunities for change and decide to take action, the result will be a life filled with success!  Read and act on the tips below to begin your journey of self improvement and enjoy the success that will follow:

Realize that you are not a failure

How can others accept you if YOU can't accept YOU? Failure is a temporary event; not a person. A person can only be a failure if they give up. The first rule of winning is never, never, never give up!

Accept yourself for who you are

Self-acceptance is not just about having nice slender legs, or great abs. Concentrate on inner beauty. Despite outward appearance, most "beautiful" people believe they have many flaws. Self-confidence and self-acceptance are far more attractive than mere physical beauty.

Be a sail not an anchor

Don't let other people drag you down with them. They'll pull you down further and both of you will end up feeling inferior. Instead, be there to lift them up.  Be like a sail propelling people forward, not an anchor dragging them down.

Treat every mistake as an opportunity to learn and grow

Don't feel stupid or doomed forever just because you failed at something. There are always other opportunities. If you're not making mistakes, you're not improving. Henry Ford said, "Failure is merely an opportunity to begin again more intelligently." Failure is an inevitable stepping stone to great achievement.

Practice patience

Self improvement is a one day at a time, do-it-to-yourself, do-it-for-yourself process. You can't change your destination over night, but you can change your direction (Jim Rohn). Be patient and focus on one area of improvement at a time. Remember, scientists say it takes 21 consecutive days of a repeated activity to form a habit.

Self improvement creates character and SUCCESS

Success comes from self-confidence, self appreciation and self-esteem. Make a promise to yourself to always do your best and to always look for ways to improve. Learning and personal development are lifelong processes.

Set and write down meaningful and achievable goals

Self improvement is about continually creating an improved and better YOU. The focus is on you! When setting goals, be sure they are your own. They need to be realistic and achievable, but should also be big enough that they seem just out of reach. They need to make you stretch and venture outside your comfort zone. And most of all, they must be written down!

Little things matter

Sometimes we don't realize that the little things we do, like a pat on the back, saying "hello", smiling cheerfully or paying a compliment are simple things that mean so much to other people. When we appreciate the people and things around us, we will be more appreciated.

Just because you are ready to change, doesn't mean  everyone else is

The world is full of people with different values and attitudes. Just because you have a desire and passion to continuously improve, don't expect others to readily accept and join in your journey. Self improvement is about individual growth; we cannot and should not force others to change.

There is no such thing as 'overnight success'. Be patient and know that there will be setbacks. To stay motivated and ensure you remain on course, keep a journal and document your successes and the changes you experience along the way. When you feel stuck, look back on your past successes and see how far you have come. Celebrate your achievements; both great and small.

Self improvement is about lifelong learning and discovery. First recognize your desire to change. Then, "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear." We are all here to learn and to experience life. Our family, teachers, friends, co-workers, neighbors... they all have something to teach us.  When we open our hearts and minds to self improvement, we begin the exciting adventure down the road to success.

Be Smart About Self Improvement

You are headed in the direction of improving something about yourself that really bothers you. You decide to improve upon this element in your life. It may be a character "flaw", a body image, a habit or how you do something. The decision must be made for the right reason. Doing something for someone else rarely breeds successful change. Improving something about ourselves because we see value in doing it can motivate us enough to actually see the process all the way through to success. Be smart about the decisions you make regarding your self-improvement by following the tips below.

Be Aware Of Your Self

"be true to yourself" Bobby Vee wrote these lyrics in his song by the same title. Part of the lyrics are: Be true to yourself and you'll always be true to me Be true to yourself and you'll be the girl that I want you to be

Bobby asks you to follow your heart. Being smart with self-improvement asks you to follow your self. To follow your self, you must first know who you are. Understanding what makes you "tick" will help you to understand what improvements would be counterproductive to being true to yourself.

Think outside the box

When you are on the path of making improvements you are going to be doing something you have not done before. Thinking in the same thought patterns will lead you down the same paths. To think outside of the box you need to be open to new ideas.

Keep An Open Mind

It will be difficult to think in new ways if you are not open to receiving new ideas. A student learns only when the mind is open to accept new ideas. Be willing to open your mind and explore the possibilities.

Be willing to respond

Making improvements requires a response to something new. You must be willing to respond to new ideas and ways of thinking.

We are sometimes asked to respond by taking action; sometimes the response that is required is a way of thinking.

Use Resources

Be smart when it comes to learning about the topic of your improvement. To learn: read books, join online forums or local groups. Networking with others and especially alongside professionals help you to gain knowledge so you can make better decisions.

Find or Keep Your Sense of Humor

Making self improvements can be trying at times. Having a sense of humor during the process can help you to survive the time between starting and finishing the improvement. Finding the irony in situations or being able to see the comedy in the everyday stuff can lift your spirits and help pass the time.

Trust In Yourself

Believe in who you are and trust in the purpose of your improvement. Trust in your abilities. Believe that you can do it, and see yourself achieving your improvement. Envision the moment in your head.

Plan To Succeed by have a written set of goals

Start everyday with a TTD (things to do) list. This list will highlight what you intend to accomplish that day regarding reaching for your self-improvement goal. Those who fail to plan, fail to achieve their goals. Know what it is that you want to accomplish and when. Write it down. Keep your TTD list visible as you go about your day. Electronic planners are great for keeping important items at hand.

Take Action

Do not let your self-improvement goal stay on paper or in your head. Get out there and take real action towards achieving your goal every day.

Share Your Achievements

Think about where you were prior to your self-improvement achievement. How did you feel about yourself. Do you see others around you struggling or feeling the same way? Do not be afraid to share your journey with others. Your achievements can inspire others to reach their own self-improvement goal.

My 5 Proven Self Improvement Steps on How to "Live Your DREAM Life!" - A Powerful Self-Help Program

Before I get into this, it's important that you understand what self help, personal development and self improvement, actually mean? In a nut shell, it's exactly what it says on the tin, anything to do with improving or developing yourself. For example, career, relationships, health, psychology, etc.. Self help is basically any form of information, or tools that help you, to help yourself.

I've got a quick question for you...

Has there ever been a time in your life where you couldn't wait for tomorrow to come? or even didn't want to go to sleep because you was having such a great time? You must have felt like that at least once in your life, right? I bet you even have a big smile on your face just remembering those 'good times'...

But here's the thing, why can't every second of every single day be like that, for you, me - ALL OF US?...

Well actually, it can! But of course, FIRST, you need to know how that's done. But let me tell you something, it's much easier than you might think...

Do you believe this is possible?...

Maybe you think I'm a dreamer, if you do, that's cool! But what if I told you that this scenario is exactly what my life is like. Furthermore, what if I told you that my life 'should' be a 'misery', according to some people?...

Well, that is the reality of it. You see, I have a degenerative disease called Multiple Sclerosis(MS), which often results in complete debilitation. One of the many symptoms are stress and depression. So how then am I able to live my DREAM Life!? Well, the answer is simple...

With good self improvement strategies!

I urge you to join me and make this your reality too. Everybody deserves to live an extraordinary life, and now, with these simple strategies, EVERYBODY can.

If you are at all interested in self improvement or personal development, it's important to get 'First things FIRST'. In other words, start from the ground up. Picture this, imagine I gave you a recipe to make a cake, you wouldn't start from step 5, would you? Self improvement is no different...

So, let's do things properly and start from the all important first step!...

STEP ONE is the most important step of all, and it plays the biggest part in what we all crave in life - Happiness! Step one is not only the most important step, but also the most difficult. This is the stage were you build your life's foundational values, but not just any old values, they have to be ROCK SOLID values.

STEP TWO helps to fit the pieces to your self improvement puzzle. Basically, you have to 'know', or have a theory, about what the meaning of life is. 'Knowing' this, will help you to shape your life. My theory on what life means, is this - "Life is a never ending, 'roller coaster' journey of CHOICES and EMOTIONS". Ultimately, everybody wants to be happy. Onto step three...

STEP THREE, is to find, or understand, what YOUR purpose in life is. Put another way, "what were you put on this planet to do?" Don't worry, this isn't as difficult or mysterious as it may sound, we all have the perfect 'tool' for doing this - Our EMOTIONS. Yes, it is true, your emotions can be your best friend or worst enemy, and sometimes at the same time! So ask yourself, "What is it that I really love doing?". Now take that a step further and ask yourself, "What FEATURES does my passion have that I love?".

STEP FOUR involves actually constructing your DREAM Life. This bit will stretch your self improvement prowess to the limit, but don't worry, this is very much doable. This step is based on the features you identified in step three and one of the most powerful personal development tools around - GOAL SETTING! Do this for each of the different departments of your life. For example, Health, Wealth, Relationships, etc. All of this comes together and forms your very own, personal development plan. And now for the really exciting bit...

STEP FIVE - Live the life you have designed in your personal development plan. In other words, live your DREAM Life!

Naturally, there is a bit more to it than that, but hopefully you get the general gist of self improvement, and what's required to live your DREAM Life!

It takes just 1 second to decide to change your life, so what are you going to decide to do in the next few seconds? It's over to you. If you had just 30 days left to live, what would you do? Whatever you do...

DON'T WASTE YOUR LIFE BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE TRAGIC!

How to Get Better Results From Your Self Improvement Efforts

Reading a book is also self improvement and personal development or to be more precise, reading the book alone is not really self improvement, but reading the book, and applying what you learn is. To illustrate my point lets talk about something very generic, if you read a book on lets say programming a webpage, it will perhaps help you understand how the programmer makes the web-pages, but the actual page you want to make, will not exist before you start programming it.

And similarly the improvement of yourself will not occur just from reading a lot of books, but by applying what you learn in those books it will!

A large number of people read a lot of self improvement books, or maybe I should say a lot of beginnings of self improvement books, but not that many actually finish the books, and even fewer start applying the ideas or exercises they are presented with in the books. While they may like the book and the suggestions in it, most people have a short attention span, and before they get around to applying the new information, their eyes gets caught by another great book, or something entirely different, and they quickly move on without getting any really life altering benefits from it.

The secret behind good self improvement and personal development is that when you find something you think might benefit you, you look further into the subject, either by buying and reading a book about it, or finding information on the subject elsewhere, and finally applying the information in your own life and thereby creating the improvements you desire.

Remember it is always good to learn new things from reading a good book on the subject, but the information has to be put to good use if you really wish to benefit from it.

Even Faster Self Improvement Is Possible

If you have interest in speeding up your self improvement even further, perhaps you should consider looking into self hypnosis or meditation. Meditation is good for the soul and helps creating an inner calm, while self hypnosis is a very useful tool for implementing changes in your behaviour.

In order to get any benefits from either of these methods you will have to be consistent in using and or applying them in your life. Regular use of meditation or self hypnosis will strengthen what ever have gone before it so to speak. Actually it is like with every new thing, in the beginning it is not so easy, and it takes some effort both to apply it, and to stay with the programme, but after a while, it more or less becomes automatic or second nature to you, and that is when you will start to really notice the benefits.

If you are interested in learning meditation I would recommend you look for a personal teacher, as you will be playing around with the powers of your own psyche and as you immerse deeper into the techniques you might be stirring up old emotions that can be difficult to tackle on your own.

A trained meditation teacher will be aware that these things happen in advance, and is equipped to handle the emotions and explain to you how to deal with them.

On the other hand if you want to learn self hypnosis for self improvement you could easily make good progress from the home study course I recommend at my website. Actually self improvement by self hypnosis is a very powerful tool, and if you have access to one, I recommend you put it to good use, remember though, buying, and reading the material is not enough, you must apply the information too.

Self Improvement Programs - 3 Important Aspects

Following are a few psychological techniques and behavioral methods that may help you for self improvement program to modify and change different behaviors in order to improve overall. These procedures coincide and are common.

1. Self monitoring

The most common aspect in all the self improvement programs is to manage behavior.

Monitoring yourself, observing yourself and keeping tabs on your behavior. For example, assume you are someone who is always late for meetings and appointments. It is not possible to realize how many times you have been late or how much late you have been. Therefore, managing self is a method to cause awareness of your behavior. It will provide a standard for comparability of your initial behavior with the modified behavior at a later date after you have undergone the program. This way, your progress can be measured at regular intervals making this program reinforcing.

2. Tailoring

Programs that are aimed at improving oneself, normally conform to ones particular routines. The persons? manner of living, ability and the distinctive circumstances are ?tailored? to that person.

For instance, let?s assume that you are under lot of pressure and have difficulty relaxing. And you make up your mind to go for a relaxation program. Someone advises you to wake up half an hour earlier to do relaxation exercises. You do wake up half an hour earlier the next day, however, by the time it?s evening you are tired and unable to do the same the next morning. To solve such a problem you need tailoring.

Before starting with this entire program, you must first find and examine how is your time normally spent during the day, and where in your schedule you can fit this relaxation program and accordingly reschedule yourself. Which is the most suitable time for your job? How you should manage time in order to be on time for the meeting? What is the best time to exercise? What is the suitable time for relaxation? All these questions will have to be answered.

3. Material reinforcement

It is important to increase this healthy behavior, so reinforcement of this program is must. Reward yourself from time to time. This may be in the form of a bonus, getting yourself a ticket to the show, buying clothes for yourself, etc.

Society and social acceptance can also act as a good reinforcement medium. Imagine you try to quit smoking, how great it feels when you control the smoking urge the whole day and are appreciated by the people around for it. The action of appreciation by people is a type of social reinforcement. Even when we observe other people, knowingly or unknowingly, we give compliments to people for their behavior, work or even if for some kind of improvement, it becomes a social reinforcement for them. These types of social reinforcements that motivate people to stick to whatever they are doing are very useful methods.

We learn lots of lessons of life from such self-improvement programs that we overlook when we are busy in our daily lives. If we look at all this at a deeper level, we will understand that doing and following all such right kind of suggestions is easy to do and implement if we make up our mind. If we realize all this at the right time, we really don?t need to enroll into a self-improvement program necessarily. But if we haven?t realized, are confused about many things in our lives and feel without any direction, it?s better to go through a self-improvement program.

Self-Improvement, A Big Business - Not Always Clean

Self-improvement is a billion dollars a year industry. When the pie is that big, we can expect some hands that are not snow-white reach for it. We can expect scandals, misrepresentations, exaggerated claims and whole panoply of wild and crazy statements.

Every Tom, Dick and Harry with a bit of imagination is trying to strike big and make tons of money. To do that, these would-be Gurus know that they have to get known and the best way to get that publicity is by doing or saying something that is outlandish, that defies the imagination or makes them look as if they are the anointed ones who have just found the secret.

That state of affair is nothing new. It's been going on for ages. Sects were and still are formed. The hypes are getting more and more sophisticated and the prices charged to attend "special" events have reached astronomical proportions.

Even serious medias have found a way to get into the act and making money by exploiting this unsavory side of the Self-improvement world. All this is enough to leave the neophytes in the self-help movement a bit perplex and uncertain.

Here then are a few bits of advice that could help you if you're just starting out on a quest of self-improvement and self-actualization.

The first thing that you should know is that there are no magic bullets. Improving the mind is like improving the physical body. The results are directly proportional to the efforts made. Real and lasting improvements only follow patient and sustained work.

Real Self-improvement is not about learning new tricks or slick techniques; it's about transforming your character, your way of thinking and the way that you see the world. It's about shedding self-sabotaging beliefs and replacing them with dynamic and empowering ones.

It could be said that self-improvement is about character building. Being successful and effective is important but being a person of substance and integrity is even more important for the simple reason that we experience life through who we are and not through what we have.

Self-improvement depends more on the state of mind than on the information assimilated. A person who is eager to learn, grow and take action could find all the information necessary in one or two classic books on the subject.

On the other hand, anyone looking for the silver bullet, the secret formula or the perfect "get rich quick" scheme can spend an entire life studying self-improvement and not get too much out of it.

Self-improvement is an active process and not a passive one. It's more about changing than about learning. It's about discovering what it is that we should change in our life and working hard to affect that change. In some specific cases, the learning part could take as little as a few minutes whereas the transformation itself could take years.

All the basics of self-improvement can be found in three books: 1) Awaken the Giant Within by Anthony Robbins 2) Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill and 3) The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey.

With these three books and twenty to thirty minutes of daily studies, in less than a year, you will know all that you need to know to reach as high as you ever want to go... providing you apply what you learn.

Self Hypnosis Techniques Can Be Used For Self Improvement

The state of hypnosis is usually defined as a simultaneous state of relaxation and concentration. Drawing from this definition, one can infer that hypnosis can be a tool for achieving relaxation. With the mind in a relaxed, and attentive state, it becomes open to suggestion. This state of mind can be achieved either with the help of a professional hypnotist, or with a little bit of practice, by one's own efforts. The latter is termed as self hypnosis.

Hypnosis, unfortunately, has a lot of bad press going for it, primarily because of the misconceptions surrounding it. So what are these misgivings that make people reluctant to give these techniques a try? Many people believe that they lose their control when under hypnosis. That statement is a tricky one. While hypnosis is about what may seem like surrendering your control to the hypnotist, it is only possible if you choose to do it. In other words, the choice is with us, the control is with us. We can choose to "give" the control to the hypnotist; and we can snap out of hypnosis anytime, by choosing to "take" that control back, when we want to. And in case of self hypnosis, the question of giving up control to "someone else" doesn't even arise.

"A hypnotist can't make you do anything you don't really want to do. There is nothing spooky about it." -Business Week

In reality, self hypnosis has the potential to be an excellent self improvement tool. At the very least, it can be used to calm ourselves. Akin to meditation, one can experience the restorative effects of relieving our stress, and calming ourselves using self hypnosis techniques. And because of the focus and openness to suggestion when in hypnotized state, self hypnosis can offer other potential benefits in the area of personal development. Some of these include using self hypnosis techniques for improving our self confidence, handling our fears, and anxiety control. Using hypnosis techniques for quitting smoking and for weight reduction are also quite popular.

Self hypnosis is a natural technique. It is a relaxation technique. It is a self improvement technique. And like many techniques, it requires practice and patience, to get it working for you initially. While professional help is always available to help get you started, many people successfully use specific audios developed by professionals, to achieve the personal development results they seek and desire in themselves.

"The purpose of hypnosis as a therapeutic technique is to help you understand and gain more control over your behavior, emotions or physical well-being." -The Mayo Clinic
