We all tend to believe one way or another that, every thing that happens to us happens for a reason. From this basic point we then accept that one thing leads us on to another. We need therefore to lock up our past heartaches, embarrassments and failure. They need to be treated as teachers only and nothing else. They will become tools in self-improvement and building success. They have no other role in our future that we are setting out to build, using the principal of the law of attraction. They must be locked away as they will lead to self doubt, undermine our mind set and cause the struggle to get back to our normal belief system that we have been socially and environmentally programmed to accept.
Remember the film called "Patch Adams". It is a good film to review as it will help you to improve yourself. Patch fails his exams as a medical student and after months of melancholy, goes into depression and even considers suicide. In the end to seek medical attention he voluntarily admits himself in a psychiatric ward... His months in the ward meeting really sick and mental patients helps build back his resolve to help others and that he still wants to be a doctor.
With this he carries within himself a positive attitude any of us would be proud to emulate into our own lives. You see him in the film not only influence himself but others around him and the actual quality of life for all within the hospital area of influence. Needless to say he becomes the best doctor his country has ever known. So when does self improvement become synonymous with success? Take these tips;
1. Stop feeling and thinking as if you are a failure you are not if you have stayed reading this article to this point. Accept each new challenge, how can others accept you if you do not accept you.
2. When you see all those beautiful people on TV and in magazines, think more on self improvement, not self pitying. Self confidence is not about our visual image but on a belief of our inner beauty.
3. When you come across others who are feeling glum and down, help them to move up. Start with making them smile and keep your voice bright and happy, you'll be surprised how this can change others moods. Do not let them drag you down to their level. They can with their negativity pull you down further through joint self pity and you end up feeling inferior
4. The world that we live in is for learning, taking lessons in life skills. Don't feel stupid and doomed forever over a mistake. There is always the next time, just remember to learn from this mistake and learn to learn from others mistakes. Let the other person no you have learned from their mistake and help them fix the issue if possible. This is team and success building. Always make room for self improvement.
5. Take your steps forward one at a time. Do not expect to become a goody two shoes overnight. Success in self improvement is a one step at a time process, which will include some setbacks. It is a process that you will run at your own pace, not that of others.
6. Self confidence, self appreciation and self esteem are the building blocks of Self Improvement. The results are inner stability, personality development and most of all SUCCESS.
7. Set goals that are achievable and are meaningful to you. We are looking to improve and better you and no one else. Others can build off your success, as you can build of theirs but your goals must be for you and you alone. We are out to improve and better YOU.
8. Remember the little things in life, be polite, give appreciation in person not in writing or emails. It's all the other things your body says, that carry the message as you mean it to be heard ie your five senses.
9. Self improvement is an individual step that will only be achieved if your mental state is ready for the change. If its not then you will build blocks to your progress. Most of all it's a lonely journey that you cannot force even your best friend down if they are not mentally prepared for the belief system changes that the Law of Attraction can bring or even force upon us.
10. Last of all but most importantly, there is no such thing as overnight Success. It's always a wonderful feeling to hold onto all that you already have now. Realizing that those are just some of the things that you have previously wished/hoped for is a key to your right of passage to Self Improvement and Success.
11. Use all the aids that you can find from mind mapping through to audio programmes. It takes a lot to change enforced beliefs

I want to close on a nice quote "We are all here to learn our lessons. When we open the doors for self improvement, we increase our chances to head to the road of success."
